Grab a book and join us for a casual monthly book club celebrating queer literature of all kinds and genres. Anyone is welcome to attend — whether you read the whole book or didn't make it past the first chapter, come for the conversation and the community.

This month we're reading Woodworking by Emily St. James, with multiple physical copies available through the OCLN library network.

The Community Room is on the 2nd floor near the rear entrance, with free parking on-site. A small kitchenette is available, so feel free to bring a snack to share (and your own serving utensils if needed).

Sunscreen on and burgers on the grill — we closed out the summer with a potluck-style cookout on the beach. A celebratory group of queers and allies gathered at this family-friendly event to eat, play lawn games, listen to music, swim, and have an all-around fun time.

Attendees were encouraged to bring some food to share for the potluck.

Roll for initiative, stay for community! The Rainbow Knights returned with another afternoon of tabletop gaming. Whether attendees were seasoned adventurers or had never picked up a 20-sided die, this event was for everyone.

Multiple D&D one-shots ran simultaneously, so players could pick the adventure that matched their interests and experience level. Character creation assistance was available for newcomers.

August's pick was A Closed and Common Orbit by Becky Chambers, available as an ebook and audiobook on Hoopla and throughout the OCLN library network.

The group met in the Community Room on the 2nd floor of the Stoughton Public Library, and attendees were invited to bring a snack to share.

The Rainbow Knights kicked off Stoughton Pride with a night of music, community, and just the right amount of courage at Queer-aoke — our annual karaoke celebration for the queer community, allies, and friends!

Whether attendees took the mic or cheered from the crowd, it was an unforgettable night of singing, laughter, and connection. Back by popular demand, SB John Entertainment kept the energy high all evening long.

The Rainbow Knights hosted a cozy afternoon of community and crafting! Attendees brought their own craft or used provided coloring pages.

The event was held in the community room at the Stoughton Public Library. Coloring pages and materials were provided for anyone without a craft.

A collaborative self-defense workshop combining Rainbow Knights' mission with expert martial arts instruction from Legacy Martial Arts.

Participants will engage in warm-ups and learn foundational self-defense techniques. Be sure to wear clothes that you can move around in!

About the Instructor: Lauren Cloutier ("Ms. Clou") brings 16+ years of martial arts experience, holding a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo. Her background spans Karate, Taekwondo, Hapkido, Krav Maga, Kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

An affinity space for queer people of color during Black History Month. Attendees honored Black LGBTQ+ lives through rest, reflection, and joy.

Participants enjoyed coloring, shared stories, listened to music, and were present in community. A complimentary dinner was provided.

The Rainbow Knights celebrated authenticity, community, and fabulousness at our First Annual Queer Prom! Whether attendees missed their high school prom, wanted to experience it as their true selves, or simply loved a reason to get dressed up and dance, this night was for them.

The evening featured Drag DJ Nervous spinning the perfect mix of beats to keep everyone dancing all night long. Guests came dressed in spectacular prom attire—glamorous, dramatic, or simply whatever made them feel amazing!

This was a dry event, creating a safe and inclusive space for all attendees to celebrate together.

The Rainbow Knights hosted a special screening of Hero Camp! — a coming-of-age documentary about three queer teens on the path to self-discovery at a LARP camp.

The documentary Hero Camp! by Sam Ho takes place in Sidleterra, a faraway realm. Well…a hotel in Massachusetts. However, for the campers, Soul, Anakin, and Ryan, this live-action role-playing (LARP) camp is a medieval fantasy land. While destroying monstrosities with foam swords, they battle their inner conflicts. Then, once the cloaks are hung up and swords are sheathed, how will they battle their conflicts in the real world?

Queer brainiacs, trivia enthusiasts, and everyone in between gathered for a night of mind-bending questions, fabulous prizes, and community connection at Toffee Social Bar & Lounge in Stoughton.
